A Caesarian Shift is a basic form of encryption. The cipher is performed by shifting each letter in the alphabet a fixed number of positions, backwards or forwards.
For example, "abc", shifted forward by two letters would be "cde."
The Caesar Shift is named after Julius Caesar, who used it to hide messages from his enemies, around 56 BC.
